Use the light to enhance your DJ play with the new DDJ-ERGO, a DJ Controller for Home DJs
The DDJ-ERGO-V includes the Atomix Productions DJ software "Virtual DJ Limited Edition" that allows you to use the music stored on your PC to make your own mixes and arrangements, and is compatible with a wide variety of DJ software. In addition, "Pulse Control" another unique feature to this controller is that light is used to perform the operations required during your performance. The controllers rounded shape and design aesthetics such as the white side-panel make it a good match for any interior design. The layout of this controller is the same as that you would find on Pioneer’s higher end professional models. This results in excellent operability and in a controller that can be used easily by anyone from the absolute beginner to the more experienced Home DJs.
1) "Pulse Control" enables you to use light to conduct your DJ performance
The "Pulse Control" function uses a newly developed jog "Pure Platter" that shows your performance state with the movement of light, and a channel fader with built-in LEDs to enhance your DJ play. Lights move in accordance with the pitch, beat, and effects as well as when a song is being loaded.
Main functions of Pulse Control:
(1) Mix Pulse
The difference in pitch of the songs you are about to mix is designated via light on the jog. When the pitch matches exactly, the intensity of the light increases. The less the pitch matches, the more the light weakens. This way you can tell both audibly and visually when your pitch does not match, improving your DJ skills in the process.
(2) Beat Pulse
The LEDs embedded in the channel faders light up along with the beat of the song playing. The light also strengthens and weakens based on the output sound level, which ultimately represents the state of your mix.
(3) Launch Pulse
When pressing Load button, it shows the song has been loaded with a red light starting from Load button towards the Jog wheel.
(4) FX Pulse
The effect being applied to the song will be represented not only audibly but also via light movements on the Jog wheel.
2) "Delight" design - a design that matches various room interiors
Based on design concept "Delight", the top panel employs a gradient black color scheme, while the jog uses a black/silver half-tone design. Also, with its rounded shape and white side-panel, the DDJ-ERGO can easily match various scenes and environments.
3) Laptop Dock design allows easy DJing even on a computer desk with limited space
The DDJ-ERGO employs a new Laptop Dock design that allows you to place the controller at an angle. Insert the keyboard of your laptop computer beneath the controller to use as little space as possible on your computer desk. You can also set the controller at an angle with the legs attached so that you can DJ while sitting down, or without the legs to DJ standing up depending on your specific needs.
